About Peta

Peta Leith is a professional pastry chef who trained at the French Culinary Institute in New York. Following an apprenticeship with Claire Ptak at Violet Cakes, she spent seven years as a pastry chef at the Ivy. She has spent the last few years as a freelance menu consultant, recipe developer, and food writer with a monthly recipe column in Top Sante magazine. She is now the woman behind Lumi Chocolate, selling beautiful handmade chocolates, with an emphasis on sustainability, using only ethically-sourced cocoa products and biodegradable packaging.

Her first cookery book, entitled “The Vegetarian Kitchen” is a collaboration with her aunt, Prue Leith and was published in February 2020.

She lives in Bedfordshire with her husband and two children.
